Online counselling for men
You do not have to have everything under control
Work, relationships and family responsibilities can take up so much space that there is little time to ask how you are doing. You might seem capable and dependable while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or uncertain about your direction.
I offer individual online counselling for men across Australia. Based in Sydney, I provide space to talk about what you are carrying, make sense of your experience and consider what might help.

What might bring you here
You may be finding it hard to talk about difficult feelings, feeling isolated despite being surrounded by people, navigating relationship concerns, or reconsidering the expectations you have of yourself. A change in work, family life or identity can also leave you unsure of your next step.
You do not need to wait until you have a clear explanation. We can begin with the part of life that feels most difficult to put into words.
A conversation that fits your experience
There is no single way to be a man or to ask for support. I take time to understand your story, responsibilities, relationships and values rather than assume what you should feel or want.
Our work may include noticing recurring patterns, finding words for your needs, exploring boundaries, or making room for meaningful relationships and interests. We will decide together what is useful to focus on.
My background includes ministry, Navy service and studies in psychology and theology. You can read my qualifications and approach before deciding whether I might be a good fit.
Individual support with relationship concerns
If a relationship is troubling you, our sessions can explore your own feelings and responses, the conversations you find difficult and what matters to you. This is individual counselling; partners do not attend together as part of this service.
For a starting reflection, read The Hidden Struggle of Men Who Seem to Have It All Together or Why Couples Keep Having the Same Arguments.
Sessions and fees
Sessions take place by video call for adults across Australia. Each individual session is 50 minutes and costs $120 AUD. You will need a private place to talk and a reliable internet connection. We arrange appointments by email, with times confirmed in Sydney time.
Do I need to be good at talking about feelings?
No. We can take time to find a starting point. You do not need to have the right words or prepare your full story.
Can we talk about faith?
Yes, if it matters to you. Adults from all backgrounds are welcome. Faith and spirituality can be included without needing to be the focus of every conversation.
